Fuel level sensor (probe)
The CargoTrack fuel level sensor is developed and manufactured for fuel management – monitoring fuel level and fuel consumption and preventing theft of fuel.
Its advanced system, rugged build, and easy installation make the sensor ideal for all fuel monitoring and control tasks.
The fuel level sensor is available in standard and advanced versions, and the same fuel level sensor can be used with our monitoring devices Tracking.
This fuel level sensor is designed to measure the fuel level in containers and vehicle fuel tanks. The sensor can be used with devices that support the CargoTrack unified communication protocol.
The sensor features electronic galvanic isolation of the interface and power circuits. Fuel level is measured by a measuring head together with the probe immersed in the fuel, which acts as a capacitor whose capacitance varies linearly with the fuel level in the tank.
The sensor is designed to measure the fuel level in the fuel tanks of vehicles and in stationary fuel tanks.
