Driver alert

One of the additional services offered by CargoTrack is alerting your drivers when various emergencies arise. By installing an audible alert system in the cab, you can send sound signals to your driver when they don't respond to other means of communication.

The driver alert system can be used for several types of audible warnings:

Waking the driver: The system can be activated manually by the dispatcher directly from the Premium GPS app, or by SMS if the driver doesn't answer the phone. Thanks to its loud sound, it can be heard even from outside the cab, making it a perfect warning tool for emergencies.

Speed limit warning: The driver alert system activates automatically when the preset speed limit is exceeded and deactivates when speed drops below the limit.

Prolonged idling with the engine running: The system activates automatically when the vehicle is stationary with the engine running for longer than a preset period and deactivates when the engine is switched off.

Driving style: The system activates automatically in case of inappropriate driving (excessive RPM, harsh braking, harsh acceleration, sharp turns). It can be an excellent way to prevent falling asleep at the wheel.

Unauthorized engine start: The driver alert system sounds if the driver has not logged in before starting the engine (works only together with the driver identification button).

Leaving or entering a specific predefined area: The system will activate automatically when entering or leaving a predefined area.
