With what solution are we going?

We will be there with our solution dedicated to regulation RO e-Transport. Within the CargoTrack application, the module e-Transport It allows clients to manage shipments involving high-risk goods. Additionally, we are prepared to provide the API documentation for those who wish to integrate this solution directly into their own platform.

RO e-Transport it is a regulation issued in Romania by The National Administration Agency Taxation (ANAF), which requires the declaration of shipments of goods with high fiscal risk carried out on the territory of the country, and, in certain cases, their monitoring using GPS.

Frequently Asked Questions about Transport Logistic 2025 and RO e-Transport

What is the Transport Logistic fair at Messe München?

Transport Logistic is an international trade fair dedicated to transport and logistics, hosted by the Messe München exhibition center in Germany. The 2025 edition took place from June 2 to 5 and brought together transport companies, logistics operators, and fleet technology developers. CargoTrack was present at this edition with its own solution for the regulation of RO e-Transport.

Where was the CargoTrack stand at Transport Logistic 2025?

CargoTrack had a stand in Hall B1, stand 118, at Messe München throughout the entire duration of the Transport Logistic 2025 trade fair, that is, between June 2 and 5, 2025. The team was present at the stand every day of the event to discuss with carriers, logistics operators, and partners interested in GPS fleet tracking and compliance with RO e-Transport.

What solution did CargoTrack present at Transport Logistic 2025?

CargoTrack has presented the RO e-Transport module, integrated into its own GPS monitoring application. The module allows the management of shipments involving goods with high tax risk, that is, exactly the shipments covered by the RO e-Transport regulation. For companies that prefer to work from their own systems, the API documentation has also been made available, so that functionality can be integrated directly into the client platform.

What is RO e-Transport and who regulates it?

RO e-Transport is the national system for monitoring the transportation of goods with high tax risk within the territory of Romania. It was established by the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 41/2022, and the system is managed by the Ministry of Finance through the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF). The regulation requires the declaration of the relevant transports and, in certain situations, their monitoring via GPS. The categories of goods are determined by an official list, which can be updated over time.

Can the e-Transport module be integrated into your own platform via an API?

Yes. CargoTrack provides API documentation for the e-Transport module, so that companies that already use an ERP, a TMS, or an internal platform can transmit the data without having to work in two separate applications. The alternative option is to use CargoTrack directly. The choice depends on the volume of shipments and the IT resources available in the company.

Why do carriers need the GPS tracking required by e-Transport?

GPS devices installed on vehicles and a platform capable of transmitting the positioning data to the tax authority’s system are required in the format required by the regulation. The practical recommendation is to prepare in advance: equipping the fleet, testing the transmission, and training the dispatchers. In this way, any change in the implementation schedule will not catch the company unprepared, and the races can be declared correctly from the beginning.

Is the postponement of sanctions still valid for the non-transmission of GPS data?

The RO e-Transport regulation remains in effect, regardless of the schedule of penalties. The deadlines for applying fines for non-transmission of positioning data have been modified several times by successive normative acts, so the valid status must be verified in the Official Gazette or on the ANAF website before any decision is made. However, the obligation to declare the transported goods has not been eliminated.
