How does the driver identification button work?

The driver identifier consists of a key and a reader specially designed for identifying drivers.

Our recommendation CargoTrack is to use this accessory when the vehicle is used by several people or when one person uses several vehicles.

This solution suits situations where a vehicle is used by several people, letting the fleet manager see at all times who uses the vehicle and when, and how fuel consumption is affected by each driver's driving style.

The data collected can then be analyzed to determine driver efficiency, as well as to detect fuel losses or theft and the vehicle's degree of wear.

In addition, the driver identifier can immobilize the vehicle's engine and warn the driver with a light or sound signal that they have not logged in correctly or are not authorized to use that vehicle.
