Driver acoustic alert system
About the driver audio alert system
The driver audio alert system is compatible with all GPS tracking systems sold by CargoTrack. Thanks to its small size, the system can be mounted in various places inside or outside the cab.
Available types of audio alerts:
- Driver wake-up – the system can be activated manually by the dispatcher directly from the tracking app or by SMS if the driver does not answer the phone. Thanks to its loud sound, it can be heard even from outside the cab, making it a perfect warning tool for emergencies.
- Speed limit warning – the system activates automatically when the preset speed limit is exceeded and deactivates when the speed drops below the limit.
- Prolonged idling with the engine running – the system activates automatically when the vehicle is stationary with the engine running for longer than a preset period and deactivates when the engine is switched off.
- Driving style – the system activates automatically in case of improper driving (excessive engine speed, harsh braking, harsh acceleration, sharp turns). It can be an excellent way to prevent falling asleep at the wheel.
- Unauthorized engine start – the system will sound if the driver has not authenticated before starting the engine (works only together with the driver identification button).
- Leaving or entering a specific predefined area – the system will activate automatically when entering or leaving a predefined area.
