Is the viaTOLL system still operational?

The viaTOLL OBU units are operational until September 30, 2021. Until this date, there will be a transition period during which the 2 systems will operate in parallel. After this date, the current viaTOLL system will no longer be operational and will no longer allow the payment of road tolls in Poland. e-TOLL will become the only toll collection system in the country (except for the A2 highway).

What should users do before the viaTOLL system expires?

To return the OBU device in exchange for a refund of the amount deposited as a guarantee for the device;
To register in the e-TOLL system for paying the vignette Poland and exit the viaTOLL system;
To settle the funds on his account. Settlement is possible within 12 months after the expiry of the viaTOLL system, after which funds remaining in the viaTOLL accounts will be transferred to the Polish National Road Fund.
